without knowing what version of Delphi/C++ Builder you are on, I'm not 100%
that the following will help.
Having said that, I suspect that you are using Version 4 of Delphi or CPPB
and are trying to compile/link a project which includes a form which has
been saved in text format rather than binary.

I had this very error only two weeks ago, and it was with a commercial
package that I use at work. The new version had a single form saved by
Delphi in text format. I used the convert.exe file (in delphi/bin or
cppb/bin to convert the form from text to dfm as follows :

Close the IDE & exit from Delphi or CPPB.
(To confirm the file is saved in text mode, try opening it in Notepad or
your favourite text editor.)
Copy the affected form, say test.dfm, to test.dfm.original.
Rename test.dfm to test.txt
Start a command window and navigate to the folder where the test.txt file
lives.
Run the convert.exe with the txt file name as a parameter - convert test.txt

This creates a new test.dfm in binary.

Now reload Delphi or CPPB and open the project and do a full build.
It might be wise to ensure that you have the option to save in binary or
text set to binary to avoid this problem, especially if you write forms
which you intend to distribute to others.

I believe that Delphi/CPPB version 5 and above allow the option of saving in
text.

I have just download the last evaluation version( Ga ).
I have got a bad surprise:
whenever modification I made eg Add a space and remove it i obtain
the following message:

[Error] RLINK32: Unsupported 16bit resource in

on every form i touch.
All works fine with la last Evaluation before the Ga.

Any hints please?
