Hi Geoff,
I tried to prepare a sample app to show you the problem and wow, it
behaves correctly as one would expect! There should be some peculiar
mistake of mine in the original application. I must say, that I am not
at home now and the mentioned sample app is build on another machine
with 4.2.Fn and Delphi 5. I have to investigate it and report later.
