but as you say they do not have any interest in IB, all the new development
seems to be directed to a Windows Explorer replacement. I just want a simple
tree that works.

I have FlyTree working crudely from IBO, but their DB version will not compile
so I can't try that. And the other I have found wrap TTreeview with its 64k
limit and crude graphics.
