I recently included the TIB_Export component in one of my projects
recently for a client so they could export to a dbf file. The
exporting part seems to work fine and a dbf file is produced.

However if I try to link the dbf file with a Access 2000 database the
table comes up empty; if I try to open the dbf file with Excel 2000
the file opens perfectly with all rows appearing.

Is there a problem with the dbf that is being exported? I know from
many years ago when writing a program to save a DBF file that in
the header of the dbf file was a section where you specified the
number of records contained in the file.
