obviously the people on this list use IBO so they have (at least
historically) developed for Windows.
Even after the IBO port is available most commercial/professional
developers wont be making great use of it until a client project
presents itself. Clients wont want projects in Kylix until they have
(or plan for) Linux installations in areas where custom software is
required. And that all takes time to take hold.
Keep watch on what happens with the next Windows releases. If M$ are
true to their word, they are about to make licensing more stringent.
It seems to me that this is likely to force clients to take Linux more
seriously and we may see commerical Kylix development start to take
off.
I guess this is advance warning to people like myself (who have not
yet touched on Linux development) that it may be time to start.
