Thank you for everybody who replied. Your input helped me in finding a
solution to my problem. What I ended up doing is when I finished
populating the combobox Items and ItemValues properties, I added the line
IB_ComboBox.ItemIndex:=IB_ComboBox.ItemValues.IndexOf(FieldValue). This
works fine.
