I'm quite happy with that.

I already have a services module, but would be happy to 'standardize', it is
starting to bring rewards in other areas. I just need to finish porting my last
major system over.

I presume you are suggesting a set of REP$XXX tables that we can use as a
standard?

I have been looking at a means of tracking what has been downloaded to each
remote site, using user names as the flag and a timestamp for version. I had
trouble with it as the remote sites all pull when they have a connection, rather
than the center pushing changes.

I haven't really thought about it fully as the reason for needing it went away
when British Telecom admitted that they had not set up the network correctly,
and so I really was seeing network faults rather than software ones. It's only
taken them a YEAR so we are looking into billing them for the waste of time.
They had always blamed me! ( The engineer who admitted the problem has been
'moved on' ! )
