See the help file. Many (but not all) components have detailed documentation, generally at the lowest level of the hierarchy, i.e. the detailed stuff is not usually duplicated in the descendants. Make use of the green "Hierarchy" link to find ancestors.

Unfortunately, the index isn't great, thanks to a bug in our component help tool which we are waiting to fix. The index will find classes but not properties, events and methods. Select the component's topic to get at the doc for these. :(
