Proposition to Jason!

Why is the Searchbar's sbClear button activated only in Search mode?
It would be much easier (and more logical) to enable it also when some
search criteria's are defined. Then the user could clear the filter with one
click - now it takes 3 (search,clear,post).
If its done already with some method, then I apologise and would like to
know how can I do this .
