You need to have both a connection and a transaction in order to do anything
with InterBase/Firebird.

If you are going to use the TIBODataset components which are based on the
TDataset class in order to have compatibility with other 3rd party controls,
like InfoPower, DevExpress, etc. then you are advised to use the
TIBODatabase and TIBOTransaction components as necessary.
