Subject Re: [IBO] IBO and BCB4 - Install Problems

You get the same sort of chicken and egg in Builder 5

If you try and use the 'Build All' Builder checks for ALL
dependencies and complains bitterly. If you can put up with
just ignoring each complaint, then it should build.

What the install notes should 'advise' is to build each
module individually, so that brain dead does not check for
the existance of the later files while you are doing it.
Once all the .bpi's exist, then a recompile using 'Build
All' is possible, or you can add a bug update and build all.
It's just the first build.

Having said all that, I am not quite sure why the other
problem, but only the only modules that should be installed
are the design time ones ( *D* ), the runtime ones (*R*) are
only added to the used list. I haven't had time to look at
the latest versions, so I won't say there is not a problem.

Anybody else having trouble with Builder4? and I will run it
up abd check.
