I have a problem with field type numeric(9,2) (SQL Dialect1,

What version of IBO are you using? There was a sub-release with an
adjustment to fix one problem that simply created another problem.
There is a new sub-release out there that avoids this problem. It is 4.2 Fc.
Please apply this and make sure you still have an issue and let us know.
