entertaining (cleanly). I myself get on the fringes at times... I think it
adds some savor to the dull monotonous techno jargon mishmash we nearly
suffocate ourselves in at times.
We could make this our "world views" day. Every 24th of the month anyone can
feel free to share their world views and spout out some idealistic visions
of how we can live more at peace one with another. I think that would be
fun...
P.S. Speaking of clean entertainment, my wife told me a joke the other day I
thought was worth passing along:
There was a couple that had been married for some years. The husband worked
very hard to provide and his wife was a traditional stay at home mom. Over
time the husband got to thinking that his wife really had it easy. One day
he was praying to God about the situation wondering why he had it so hard
and got the idea to ask God to allow him to swap and be his wife and let her
become him so that she could appreciate all the hard work that he did. His
wish was granted and he became his wife and she became him.
Well, after only a few days (s)he quickly realized that it wasn't the "walk
in the park" (s)he thought it was. All of the running around taking care of
kids, cleaning messes, stopping arguments, mending broken items, being woke
up all hours of the night, cooking, cleaning, washing, and never seeming to
have a single moment of personal time was more that (s)he could take. So,
humbled and wiser than before, (s)he again spoke with God and asked if the
situation could be corrected to how it was before. God said, "Sure, that's
no problem to switch things back at all. You'll just have to wait 9 months
though because you got pregnant last night."
P.S.S. No, we are not pregnant either...
