Is this the first split between Interbase and Firebird? I am thinking of
sticking with Firebird given the totally unhelpful attitude of Borland
in the past.

I still have sites to migrate which will not change for some time, and
use pump in IB_WISQL. Gbak is not a problem, but the ability to
crosscheck problems has been very useful, so would IB_WISQL see the same
problem. Presumably working IB5x server to IB6 server will not be
affected.

Is there going to be a differences list anywhere?
