Hi,
Have just released FB Server Lock UDF, this UDF allows to obtain a server wide lock outside of connection and transaction boundaries.
Locks can be obtained for 1..n seconds (upto 1 day)
Only available for FB Windows at the mo, both 32 & 64 bit versions.
