Don't install from repo, better download installation package from firebirdsql.org and install it instead.

Devuan Linux version 2.0 - 64-bit --- fresh install (derivative of
debian, see devuan.org)
Desktop = Mate
Firebird 3.0 (installed directly from default repository using synaptic)
