Hi,

yes I have the services running as I can on the back office access the
database etc

BUT I cannot access the databases on the Windows 2k machine (get the same
error messages)

this should be removed

the firebird client on these machine will talk to the firebird server
process running on the back office PC (you do have this installed and
running?)
