what are other people doing to monitor their gbak backups of their databases on a linux platform? By using -v and -y options with the gbak command you can create a log file. Do people manually go through these logs on a daily basis looking for errors or are people using grep to search for error lines in the log file and alerting that way? Just interested in what others are doing, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
