Hi

Somebody told me that if a client loses its connection to a SQL server,
then SQL Server will automatically try to reconnect. Is this true?
If so, does Firebird also do this? I saw in the FAQs that one should not use Firebird accross a wan because the Firebird protocols are rather "heavy". Can one use Firebird on a wireless lan? On a wireless lan you will probably get more lost connections than a wired lan?
A wireless lan should be faster than most broadband networks though.
