Hello Munster,
Why don't you run your programs in the debugger and find out which statement(s) trigger the crash? Because it concerns multiple programs, the component set may well be the culprit. And if it's the Firebird engine after all, we all would like to know about it, so it can be fixed. But please remember that many of us have been using Fb 2.5 in all kinds of environments without major problems.
