Seems strange. I am still using the original InterBase components from
1999 and have no issues with FB2.5 (at least none which were not present
in FB2.1). The only thing that I had to do was to backup the original
database (any of IB6.0, FB1.5, FB2.1) and restore it under FB2.5 - while
FB is supposed to work with older structures, it was prone to mysterious
errors whenever I skipped the backup-old/restore-new step.
