I have read the nbackup documentation. ( using firebird 2.1.3 )
I am still confused as to whether it can help me.
i need to
1. start a backup.( nbackup )
2. keep live database active and importing data.
3. start a restore. ( nbackup )
4. All data from live database needs to merge into newly restored database. ( nbackup )
5. After finished I expect the Oldest Transaction to be a lot smaller number.
Can nbackup do this?
if so then what list of commands must i give to do this?
If not can someone tell me?
At what point in time must I stop import of data. To ensure no loss of data?
Kind Regards,
Robert.
