Well I test the Stored Procedure (from production system) but with 64 bits,
running in the same machine, on the same database.
Windows 7 AMD 3 CPU 4 GB RAM
Database 1.34 GB ods 11.1
Firebird-2.5.1 26191 64 bits
Firebird-2.1.4 18394 64 bits
FB 214 64 bits SuperServer: 64 seg. DefaultDbCachePages = 2048
FB 251 64 bits SuperClassic:69 seg. DefaultDbCachePages = 2048
FB 251 64 bits SuperServer: 73 seg. DefaultDbCachePages = 2048
FB 251 64 bits SuperClassic:96 seg. DefaultDbCachePages = 75 (default
install)
64 bits is faster than 32 bits, but the diference seems to be the
DefaultDbCachePages per connection from 75 to 2048
