Trying to create a odbc link to a remote server , where the firebird database is, but I have the following error message : "Open database XXX/YY.fdb failed"
I tried the same thing on the local server and it works. I use the ODBC administrator for the 64 bit , wich can be found here C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe . But I also tried with the 32bit version...
I also check the network and access problem but it's ok . Servers are on the same network, I can ping one from another and the directory is reachable.
I think the problem is coming from the remote adress. On the first server, I browse to the fdb file and the adress is something like : ServerName:SharedFolder$:/Database/SXS_AIG.FDB . I also tried to use the IP adress and the complete adress like ServerName:D:/SynexsysDATA/Database/SXS_AIG.FDB but nothing helps.
Can you help me, please?
