We are in the process of upgrading our 1.5x installations to 2.x.
We have the situation which we can't get around for a while where we have a machine with 2.x dll's (windows) which has to access a remote fb server running on another machine over a local vpn that has a 1.5x db and dll's.
Can anyone tell me if there are any known issues with this.
I have searched around and can't see anything that says it can't be done.
Most importantly we want to know whether there is any danger of corrupting FB 1.5 databases by accessing them (remotely) via 2.5 client DLLs over a network.
