I must say that during the last year I have come to the same conclusion as Svanderclock.
We have one problem as he has. The server freezes.
We have a lot of servers around running our DB with our software.
They vary in size from very small and up to some 20Gb now.
The biggest one is also the one that freezes.
We have moved from 1.5 to 2.1, from windows to linux and so on.
Problem is still there. And its only on on this DB.
Another customer is at this point comming up to a 4Gb DB. They are growing at a good rate. This never freezes. Actually no other freezes.
I have followed Svanderclocks posting with interest because of this.
I believe there is some setting, error or whatever in FB that makes it freeze. And produce this error.
