Hi,
I'm a fairly new user of firebird and I have a problem connecting to a firebird.gdb with ODBC.
My setup is as follows:
I have a virtual machine running Windows 2003 64 bit where i installed
Firebird_ODBC_2.0.0.148_x64.exe
Firebird-2.1.3.18185_0_x64.exe (only the client)
Im trying to connect to another virtual machine with windows 2003 64 bit where the GDB is placed.
I have tried every combination that I can think of in the Firebird ODBC Setup control panel. Including the different dll (fbclient and gds32) but i keep getting the error "Open database 'Server:d:\db\dbfilename.gdb' Failed". Both machines are running on the same domain.
Any help is appreciated.
