Hi,
I have been under impression that SuperServer only supports single CPU and thus when running on multi CPU computer it should be tied to single core using affinity mask... I thougth that failing to do this would cause perfomance problems (service would "bounce" between cores or some such problems).
However, looking into firebird.conf of 2.1 I see that there is an example how to set it to use two CPUs under "SuperServer Engine Settings" and no warnings about potential problems. So did I have false information or is the problem fixed in latest FB versions and it's able to use multiple CPUs?
TIA
