Probably they installer added "D:\VIDEO etc\Common\Database\bin"
into system PATH ?

If you loaded fbclient.dll\fbembed.dll dynamically you could try to
a) load it with full path specified
b) add to the PATH location of correct dll version before attempt to load dll
