We install and run our package software which Firebird 1.5CS on CENTOS 4.4 or above.

But recently for the first time one of our customers wanted us to install our package software which Firebird 1.5CS on Ubuntu as their IT department is using Ubuntu.

If anybody has experience installing and working with Firebird 1.5CS on Ubuntu then we would like to know the impression of Firebird 1.5CS on Ubunutu, compatibility of Firebird 1.5CS with Ubuntu, any issues, problems encountered, do's and don'ts.
