Subject Re: [firebird-support] Problems with the service of FireBird Server

Thanks Anderson and Gabor for your tips!

I copy some portions of firebird.log. They are of three times when the
problem occured yesterday. I don´t understand exactly the meaning of the
log, but in each portion I see that first there is a "select failed", then
the next (inmediatly) says "error on main_port, shutting down" and then, a
few minutes later, when it says "Shutting down the Firebird service" I guess
that is the moment when I shut down the service to restart it.

Perhaps with this information any of you can tell me what may be causing the
"shutting down".

TBASNT02 (Server) Wed Apr 01 09:14:00 2009
INET/select_wait: select failed, errno = 0

TBASNT02 (Server) Wed Apr 01 09:14:00 2009
SRVR_multi_thread/RECEIVE: error on main_port, shutting down

TBASNT02 (Server) Wed Apr 01 09:20:38 2009
Shutting down the Firebird service with 63 active connection(s) to 6
database(s)
