Hi!
I used FB on both Linux and Windows. W2K3 server were my favorite. It
were much more faster than any Linux box I tried. I use W2K WorkStation
as database server in many environment, it is good enough for small
businesses (30-40 client) and it is rock stable, and is rock solid.
W2K8 provide more speed improvement, because of the redesigned TCP/IP
stack. In generally it is 330 times faster than the old TCP/IP stack. I
tried the DataCenter edition on my laptop and the performance,
stability, the whole system is very attractive. The best server platform
I tried. But remember, it is based on our tests, and this is my opinion.
Regards:Alex :-)
