It probably isn't. I only asked that, because it was an ad hoc error concerning a lost blob - probably a lost page.

If it were a Firebird 2.1.3 bug, other people would have experienced it. Insert statements are not unusual. ;-)

You could try that. Of course, do *not* restore over the top of the existing database.

When you do the backup, use the -v -y <filename> flags so you get a log you can review, in case the backup bumps into a related problem. Then, you will possibly have some clues about where this error is occurring.
