Hi People,
I'm having a lot of difficulty installing Firebird Classic 2.1 on Kubuntu
9.04. I used KPackageKit and got an error at the end about libstdc++.so.5.
I found Helen's document which describes problems with libstdc++.so.5 so I
installed it straight from my distro.
Now I get "59: TERM parameter not set invoke-rc.d: initscript
forebird2.1-classic, action "start" failed.". Which leaves me even more
confused.
Really I've got to the stage where I'd be happy to compile it. Could
someone point me to some step-by-step instructions for the compile, please.
Any help would be welcome.
Regards
Steve
