This do not sounds as a Firebird problem/error.

You'd probably sould take this question to the your DBX driver support list
(whatever it is) or CodeGear DBX support list.

If you're using some Interbase DBX driver (the one from CodeGear that ships
with Delphi, for instance) you should consider having a look onto a
*Firebird* DBX driver like InterXpress from http://www.upscene.com/
