Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade a firebird installation on a Debian Lenny box
from 1.5 to 2.0. I've done this before without any trouble at all,
but this box is giving me attitude.
I keep getting the following error...
**********************************************
/usr/share/doc/xinetd/README.Debian for more information.
Suggested entry (automatically converted using itox):
Line 1: socket type missing
-----------------------------------------------------------
Created default security.fdb
Preparing /var/run/firebird/2.0...done.
**********************************************
I haven't had any luck searching on the "socket type missing" term.
I've tried removing and purging everything related to Firebird and
then re-installing but this problem is not getting fixed.
Wondering if I need to do some manual "surgery".
any help is appreciated,
Thank you
