Hello,

For option 4, don't change it, its not significant and it could damage
your database if power failure / firebird abend.

Do you have an antivirus ?
If yes, try to exclude C:\Applications\Companies and fdb extension for
scanning.

Could you change vista performance settings and put services on high
priority ? instead of applications.

BTW, what application do you use to execute Insert ?
