I recently installed Firebird 2.0 on a Windows Vista
Professional PC. I am using it to link to a GNeil Optima 8 Time Clock
program. I have installed it as both Classic and Superserver. After
installation, the Optima software still cannot connect to the
database. When I go to Control Panel and double click the Firebird
icon it tells me that Firebird is not running but everything
(including the start Firebird icon) is grayed out and cannot be
activated. Is this a compatibility issue? Thanks in advance for your
help.
