Hello -

Using the Firebird server i'm now able to open all D5 interbase
databases with Firebird Maestro; D2007 interbase databases do not
open as expected. Substituting employee databases is OK.

I have installed Interbase 7.5 (as application) from my D2007 DVD and
i'm now able to open D2007 db demos. This was necessary since i'm
using those demos with Delphi for php.

My primary database server is still Firebird.

!!! I have just discovered that Firebird Maestro is not functional
with the Interbase server (unrecognized engine).

library. Check the directory structure where that utility is
installed, in case there is a "rogue" client library there.
Otherwise, freshly reboot your machine and run the program
instclient.exe from Firebird's \bin\ directory in a cmd shell. You
will find instructions + switches + parameters in the \doc\ directory.
