1.) What is the size of the database ?
About 1.3 GB.

I forgot to say, in this server runs IBreplicator, acessing 8 more BD's
each 5 minutes.


2.) What is the database statistics during the day (right before the
gbak process starts at 14pm for example)
It's not bad, but I wanted improved the performance.


Server Information:

PC:

Core 2 Quad Q6600 2,4 Ghz
3 GB RAM
HD 500 GB MAXTOR STM3500(7500 RPM)

SO: Windows XP SP3
Filepage 2046MB




We use de Firebird pagesize default,


only changing these configurations can we have a better performance?
