It will change nothing: as long as FB will be opensource, someone who
really wants to access your data will just have to get FB sources,
remove any authentication or security parts and compile.

as Dimitry said, the only real protection is to make sure the database
file cannot be accessed by anyone(thing) but FB

my 2 cents
