I've got a test program which is able to provoke:

FirebirdSql.Data.Firebird.FbException: internal gds software consistency check (can't continue after
bugcheck)

This is using Firebird 2.0.1 via the ADO.NET provider,
in embedded mode on Windows.

How do I go about diagnosing what is causing
the "internal gds consistency check"? Can someone provide
some pointers to an overview of Firebird's error logging,
tracing, and diagnostic features?
