I also think that 30 seconds is too short. This is more of an
experimental value just to prove my hypothesis that its the ISP's fault
for dropped connections. I tried it out today and it seemed to help. So
far I had no "connection closed by remote host" messages.
(few blocks, we are both on the same core network), so I'll just keep
that setting for some time to make sure problem is no longer, and then
gradually increase it.
