Hi,
I am trying to use new functions of gfix which is available in FB2.0:
"gfix -shut full -force 0"
I was expecting the database engine will disconnect all users form the
database and database file will be available for move/delete
operations on the OS level.
Unfortunately I have found it is not possible to move/delete the
database file after successfull execution of "gfix -shut full -force
0" command, when some user(s) are(were) connected to the database.
I am working on WinXP, WI-V2.0.312981 Firebird 2.0 SS, FB guardian.
thanks for your comments
Petr.
