FlameRobin. FR is the closest thing there is to an "official" free
GUI and it is maintained by people who are both high-octane Firebird
users and skilled cross-platform programmers.
You should also beware of downloading *any* binaries from websites
other than those operated by the developers of the tools
concerned. A lot of well-meaning people copy binaries into their own
FTP repositories and invite people to download them. In virtually
all cases, they don't keep their repositories up to date.

One thing you could do is post a message to the firebird-tools
yahoogroup, asking there about free (or cheap) tools that you could
try. You can find all the details, subscription instructions, etc.

can cruise down the menu at the left to get a link to the item you're
interested in.
