You are right, there is a problem. I can duplicate it.
We have never encountered it because we only use the create_uuid
function, and none of the others.

Unfortunatly, our only C++ programmer left some time ago and I am
struggling to find the bug (I do mainly Java/Delphi). Is anyone able
to take a look at the source for me? I think I've identified which
functions the error could be in but beyond that I'm struggling.
