couple of other things to note
1. no UDP for Firebird (MySQL yes but FB NO)
2. you don't mention events - hope you don't use them - if you do, that's
another kettle of fish
3. I assume you have addressed the default zebedee port 11965 - and you have
opened it thru the FW
