Tell us more about the architecture - is "the webserver" an
application on the same machine where Firebird and the database
are? Or are you referring to a separate machine? How does the web
application connect to the database? Does the webserver keep account
of clients and take action to end their database work when they
wander away? What's the OS platform? etc., etc.
