Rick , openssh installed on same server as firebird, with putty as a
client (tunnel).
Openssh does not require special config (as it is on the same machine) .
The client (putty) must have a tunnel config´ed . The tunnel must have
the host name
as in $HOSTNAME ,like L13050:MyServer:3050 . I then open connection on
localhost port
13050 . That should work. If you are using ssh as a client on linux,
the same applies.
Every tool i used works (flamerobin, ibexpert, sqlhammer) and odbc
connections too.
