Thanks to all of you that have answered my questions about "Is Firebird
Rock Solid". I'm going to continue my questions about using embedded
Firebird in a new thread.
I understand the concept that if you use it embedded, the DLL is loaded
into your app's memory space.
However, I'm going to be using the DB through ODBC, since that's really
the only option from a PowerBuilder program, which is what I use for my
application.
How does that work in terms of embedded Firebird? Surely the ODBC
driver is a separate process? What is in whose memory space?
Thanks.
